Transportation Sub-agency Sweeps Nails on Jalan MT Haryono to Save Tires and Lives

In an attempt to fight back against escalations in the spread of nail traps on the streets, a number of personnel under South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency is cleaning up nail traps scattered on Jalan MT Haryono from Semanggi to Cawang.

It is done to follow up complaints of citizens who often become victims of nail traps

According to Budi Setiawan, Head of South Transportation Sub-agency, to conduct it, he had sent one unit of nail-sweeper car whose rear has been modified with magnetized iron to the location.

"It is done to follow up complaints of citizens who often become victims of nail traps," he expressed, Tuesday (8/11).

By doing so, he hoped that the cleanup action would have an impact on the safety and comfort of motorists who pass at that point of the street.

"It is our routine activity in order to create a sense of the comfort and safety of the rider. We also handle other waypoints if there is a report," he stated.
